A power-play goal for the Kings, with 9:13 left in the first period. Ryan Smyth drew the penalty (tripping, on Paul Kariya) then scored the goal. Drew Doughty took a point shot and Smyth (who else?) was there on the doorstep to put in the rebound. Anze Kopitar also got an assist.
