End of first: Kings 1-0

Rough first period for the St. Louis fans. They saw the Dodgers-Cardinals score on the video board, and then Ryan Smyth scored about one minute later. Kings outshot the Blues 7-3 in the first period. St. Louis won 11 of 17 faceoffs, for those scoring at home.
