`Third' in name only

After the game, there was considerable praise for the Kings’ third line of Michal Handzus, Alexander Frolov and Wayne Simmonds, which started the scoring — on Simmonds’ goal — and did a commendable job against Dany Heatley and Joe Thornton in 5-on-5 situations.

MURRAY: “Handzus’ line was outstanding. They got matched up against Thornton on almost every shift, and that’s a big challenge. That seems to me where that line, with Fro and Simmer, answer the challenge. They love that kind of attitude going into the game and they were very, very good against the premier players in the game.”
