DOUGHTY: “That was huge. I thought we played a really good game, the full 60 minutes and overtime, and then obviously the shootout was fantastic as well. That’s the thing we’ve got to be doing every night. We’ve got to be playing like that. We’ve got to be working as hard as we can and scoring and playing defense just as well. I think if we continue to play more games like that, we’ll be winning a lot more.”

DOUGHTY: “We had so many chances, and so many pucks were laying around the crease and we just couldn’t find them. Even in the overtime period, we had some great chances in the slot and he was coming up huge for them. But that’s what good goalies do, and that’s why you’ve got to get as many pucks as you can at him, because eventually one is going to go in.”

DOUGHTY: “It’s huge. We’ve been pretty disappointed about how we’ve been playing at home as of late. To get this win is huge, and it’s really going to boost our confidence going into this road swing. Hopefully we can do the same thing there.”
