Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…
(on the back-and-forth third period…)
BROWN: “There was a span, maybe from the 10-minute mark to the five-minute mark (remaining) when they really brought it on. They had a few tips that just went wide. Other than that, I thought the first 10 minutes and and last five were pretty even. We had some really good shifts in their zone, one obviously with the goal from Greener, and we got up by a goal with four minutes left. Then it’s just a matter of preventing them, and we did a pretty good job. I don’t think they really had a lot of good chances, especially with the extra man. They didn’t have a good chance.”
(on why the Kings play well on the road…)
BROWN: “It’s really hard to say it’s one thing or another. It’s not an excuse, but maybe you get into a routine on the road. You don’t have as much free time. Not that I think that’s an issue at home. Maybe we’re just more suited to have a routine, and we’re around each other all the time too, which helps. I think we just find a way.”
