Dustin Brown’s postgame thoughts…
(on the game…)
BROWN: “They’re an explosive team up front. They got — I can’t even remember the number of goals — but a lot of it was turnovers in our offensive zone, and guys who were out there for too long and couldn’t get back.”
(on getting beat by such a wide margin…)
BROWN: “You kind of forget about the scoreboard. I think the important thing was trying to get back to playing the right way, but then some of the same stuff happened in the third, so it wasn’t a good game at all for us, obviously.”
(on the game going downhill quickly…)
BROWN: “It’s a tough one, really. They get that goal, the first goal, and the second goal was a turnover high in the offensive zone and they got behind our D. The game could have been different, that’s for sure. We had our chances in the first and we had some chances early in the second. If we have one goal, it might be a different game, but we didn’t, and they capitalized and created a lot of chances very quickly.”
