Luc Robitaille joined Jackie Redmond and E.J. Hradek of the NHL Network from the NHL Draft in Dallas Saturday morning to discuss the team’s agreement with Ilya Kovalchuk. Comparing the deal to Patrick Marleau’s contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs, he answered questions about the term of the contract and discussed the situational usage that Kovalchuk should factor into. He also spoke about the upcoming Drew Doughty negotiations, his own draft year, the Montreal Forum’s legendary hot dogs and Tom Glavine, selected in 1984 by Los Angeles 102 spots earlier.
