November 19 postgame notes

-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 0-1-0 all-time against Vegas, a record that has a 0-1-0 road mark. These teams have three games remaining: December 28 and February 26 at Staples Center, and February 27 at T-Mobile Arena.

-The Kings fell to 2-4-2 against the Western Conference, 2-3-1 against the Pacific Division, 4-2 in two-goal games, 5-5-2 when their opponent scores first, 3-4-2 when trailing after the first period, 1-5-2 when trailing after the second period and 5-5-0 when outshot by their opponent.

-Los Angeles fell to 2-1-0 on the second night of back-to-back sets.

-By stopping all 30 shots over 47:23, Darcy Kuemper has now stopped the last 54 shots he has faced.

-By assisting on Tanner Pearson’s goal, Drew Doughty now has points in three straight games (1-2=3).

-With five blocked shots, Alec Martinez’s 62 blocks on the season moved him into a first place tie in the NHL with Nikita Zaitsev.

-The Kings attempted 52 shots (29 on goal, 17 blocked, 6 missed). The Golden Knights attempted 71 shots (40 on goal, 20 blocked, 11 missed). Tyler Toffoli and Cody Eakin finished with a game-high five shots on goal.

-Los Angeles won 32-of-62 faceoffs (52%). Adrian Kempe won 5-of-12, Anze Kopitar won 11-of-22, Andy Andreoff won 0-of-1, Anze Kopitar won 8-of-13, Trevor Lewis won 1-of-1, Dustin Brown won 0-of-1, Nic Dowd won 5-of-9 and Jussi Jokinen won 2-of-3.

Monday, November 20 is an off-day for the team. The Kings will return to Toyota Sports Center for practice at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21.
