2nd Period:
– Puck is down for the 2nd period. SJ with 1:23 of PP to start frame. 0-0 score.
– Great pressure for SJ on the PP to start period. Campbell with saves in tight. Plenty of traffic. PP comes to a close. Both teams 0/1 and we still sit scoreless.
– SJ Goal: Jeremy Roy fires from right point and squeaks through legs of Campbell. Jon Martin screening. Tim Clifton with lone assist. 2:16 into 2nd period. 1-0 SJ.
– Reign responding well following goal against. Forcing puck well behind goal line and keeping SJ defense looking over shoulders. 1-0 SJ with 15:20 left in 2nd.
– Maillet with a nice tip on Bibeau, but the SJ keeper holds tight. Shots even at 15. SJ leads 1-0 with 12:25 to go in 2nd.
– ONT continues to create havoc in front of Bibeau. Almost TOO much traffic. Most shots hitting bodies/sticks. 1-0 SJ with 9:26 left in 2nd frame.

– Mersch and Hensick power shots on target. Mersch diving pokes Bibeau into net, but whistle comes quickly. 6:59 to go in 2nd.

– Balcers grabs a nice look in front of Campbell. Cuts to the middle from right wing for clean look. Left pad kick out. 7-3 shots for SJ. 8:58 left in 0-0 1st period.
– Poor SJ footing leads to Hensick breakaway, but Bibeau denies him with right pad. Hensick took the direct shot vs. making a move. Promo timeout. 8:34 left in 1st. 0-0
– Sam Herr having a noticeable frame. Has led multiple rushes into the offensive zone. With Auger and Sutter today. 0-0 with 7:29 to go in 1st.
