Good morning, Insiders, and good morning… Honda Center?

With the first Freeway Faceoff taking place tonight in Anaheim, NHL Network was kind enough to ask me to capture the emotion and intensity of the Kings-Ducks rivalry on-site and from both dressing rooms. I’ll be at Honda Center throughout the day to provide interviews and reports that will air at 1:10 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on NHL Now, and after the Kings’ arrival, on NHL Tonight, which begins at 3:00 p.m. PT. These reports will be played straight down the middle, as always, with tonight’s story lines embedded. How would Ryan Getzlaf’s potential absence impact the Ducks’ approach to contain Anze Kopitar and Los Angeles’ centers? How can the Kings’ forecheck disrupt a mobile defensive corps?

These questions, and many more, will be answered today on both the NHL Network and LA Kings Insider. Let’s talk soon, Insiders.
