3rd Period:
– ONT Penalty: Sean Walker flagged for a rough behind the play. Comes at 5:34 of 3rd period.
– Condors forwards keeping the Reign D in their end. Good pressure from BAK and forcing ONT to take a second look.
– Halfway through the 3rd period. BAK holding 2-0 lead. Pressure from Condors forwards forcing the Reign to chase back.
– BAK Dillion Simpson with ANOTHER massive block to deny Brodzinski. Has single-highhandedly denied 5-6 quality ONT chances this weekend.
– BAK Penalty: Gravel has stick slashed in half by LaLeggia. 3rd PP for ONT. 7:00 to go in 3rd. 2-0 BAK
– Crunch time for ONT. Down 2-0 with 3:38 left in contest.
-Petersen pulled with 2:24 left in 3rd. 6on5 for ONT now.
– ONT Goal: LaDue with a bomb off the right point with 1:55 left. 2-1 BAK.
BAK Goal: Great pressure by the Reign following LaDue goal, but LaLeggia breaks free and nets empty-net goal. 3-1 BAK w/ 3.7 sec left.

2nd Period:
– ONT Penalty: Roy takes a hooking call 1:36 into the 2nd period. First PK for ONT on the weekend.
– Roy out of the box and Gravel finds him for a breakaway. Great left-pad stop by Ellis.
– BAK Penalty: Paigin takes a seat for interference. ONT goes on second PP at 4:33
– Brodzinski hits the post and Hensick drills a one-time feed into a sliding Ellis. Quality looks for ONT on this PP.
– Eventful PP comes to a close for ONT. 1-0 BAK w/ 13:03 to go in 2nd period.
– BAK Goal: Ethan Bear knocks in a rebound at 8:40 off a one-time drive from Braden Christoffer for a 2-0 Condors lead.
– Great stop by Petersen full splits to get back to the right post. 6:15 left in 2nd. 2-0 BAK. Condors with a dangerous rush.
– Braden Christoffer earning his keep with a strong shift. Powers in front of Petersen. Still 2-0 BAK w/ 2:29 left in 2nd period.
– Reign create turnover for fast 3on2 break. Mersch and Maillet off to the races, but Ellis with clean stop & no rebound. 1:41 left in 2nd.
– 2nd period comes to a close. BAK adds to their lead with tally from Bear at 8:40. Both teams with 10 shots in frame. 2-0 BAK

1st Period:
– Strong start for the Reign. Key faceoff wins in the offensive zone leads to chances in front of Ellis.
– Great early save by Petersen. Flashes right pad on an early chance.
– BAK Goal: Ty Rattie finishes a Condors push off the left-wing boards and places the puck past Petersen at 3:09
– Condors buzzing around young Reign defense. Everything held to the outside.
– Sam Herr with a pair of great shifts. Takes shot on 2on1 and quality wraparound bid denied by Ellis. 1-0 BAK w/ 6:07 left in 1st period.
– BAK Penalty: Braden Christoffer takes a boarding call at 17:38 to give the Reign the first power play of the contest.
– PP comes to a close for ONT. ONT with 17 shots on goal. BAK with 6
– Good push by ONT in second half of opening period. Rattie has the Condors up 1-0 through 20 minutes.

Kevin Gravel

Drafted in 2005 by the Calgary Flames, Sutter was traded to the Reign in 2016. He is the son of LA Kings head couch Darryl Sutter, and the eighth member of the Sutter family to play in the NHL.
