– ONT Goal: Philippe Maillet strikes 1:03 into frame with great shot from right circle, off the far post and in. 4-1 CHI.
– ONT Goal: Brett Sutter cashes in 29 seconds after the Maillet tally. 4-2 CHI.
– Mersch with a couple of strong plays. Wrap around chance and nifty back handed pass. 4-2 CHI with 10:33 left in 3rd period.
– Wow. Jack Campbell with a diving glove save to deny the Wolves off the rush. 9:44 left in 3rd. 4-2 CHI
– ONT/CHI Penalties: Teemu Pulkkkinen will head to the penalty box along with ONT’s Keegan Iverson. 4on4 once again. 7:31 left in 3rd. 4-2 CHI
– ONT Penalty: Philippe Maillet flagged for cross checking. 4on3 PP for Chicago with just over six to play.
CHI Goal: Teemu Pulkkinen knocks in a puck bouncing in front of Campbell. Questionable. Looks like CHI hit it with high stick prior goal. Goal stands. PPG

2nd Period
– Reign D taking more chances on rushes. Falkovsky, Leslie, Walker, LaDue jumping in quickly. 1-0 CHI with 15:13 left in 2nd period.
– CHI Goal: Paul Thompson lunges to knock in a rolling puck past Campbell with 14:43 left in 2nd period.
ONT/CHI Penalties: Reign’s Keegan Iverson and Wolves’ Petteri Lindbohm roughing it up after the whistle. Iverson picks up additional 2 minutes, so PP to Chicago. 14:17 left in 2nd period.
– ONT Penalty: Auger called for cross checking gives CHI a 5on3 for 81 seconds.
– CHI Goal: Wolves convert on 5on4. Bad bounce off of Campbell, then off of Gravel and right to Tomas Hyka. 12:05 left in 2nd period.
– ONT/CHI Penalties: Reign under siege. Campbell holds tight. Rough stuff following the play and ONT’s Jamie Devane pulled to the penalty box. Makenzie MacEachern joins him in the box. 4on4 hockey with 9:45 left in 2nd period.
– CHI Goal: Fancy sauce from Teemu Pulkkinen with a mid-air backhanded pass below the goal line and finds Brandon Pirri wide open and Campbell looking the other way. 4-0 CHI at 15:36 of 2nd.

1st Period
CHI Penalty – Tripping to Jake Wallman. ONT with early PP at 4:00 mark.

– PP comes to a close for ONT. CHI roll into zone with speed. Reign forced to take a penalty to slow attack. Falkovsky in the box for slash
– CHI Goal: Alex Tuch knocks in a PPG for CHI. Great block by Roy on defense, but rolls away to Tuch for tally. 1-0 @Chicago_Wolves
– Hensick rings the crossbar! Good push back for ONT. 1-0 @Chicago_Wolves w/ 4:44 left in 1st.
-CHI Penalty: Chris Casto takes a seat for slashing. Less than two min left in first period. 1-0 CHI
ONT Penalty: Close call! Reign strike on PP, but washed out by interference call to Justin Auger
– End of Period. CHI takes 1-0 lead to intermission. Will begin second period with 1:21 of power-play time.
