Nick Shore suffers upper body injury, does not return

Nick Shore suffered an upper-body injury in Los Angeles 3-2 shootout win over Toronto on Thursday. While his return was deemed “questionable” at the start of the third period, he did not return to the game and finished with 8:17 of ice time.

Shore’s final shift began with roughly four minutes remaining in the second period, according to the play-by-play log.

Darryl Sutter declines to reveal injury information after games, so more information on the severity of Shore’s injury will be learned at practices in the coming days. In 63 games, Shore has five goals, 12 points and a minus-three rating.

With Matt Greene and Jordan Nolan having missed Thursday’s game, the Kings have now lost 200 man-games to injury this season.
