February 4 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On the 1-0 win over Philadelphia:
Close game. Not a lot of opportunities either way, but a lot of good opportunities. I think their goalie probably got them a point

On an opinion from the dressing room that the team could’ve won in regulation:
It is regulation. In the standings – ROW. Just remind everybody that is what it is. [Reporter: I know. I just meant before it got to that point in the game, maybe in the first 60 minutes, because you had some good chances.] I thought their goalie got them a point.

On being a strong overtime team:
We’ve scored different ways in overtime, so it’s not one good reason why. We have some good rules that we use, and it’s the way it works.

On Budaj’s second straight shutout:
Not about one individual. He didn’t have to make any big saves, just got to stop the puck. I thought there were some rebounds early he could’ve handled better and we could’ve been down, but I thought the guys in front of him covered a lot up.

On the five-game winning streak:
The way we’d lose a couple, we’re the worst team in the league. We win a couple, we’re the best. I don’t really worry. We’re just sitting around here long enough, it doesn’t bother me one way or the other. We could’ve been standing here losing 1-0 – it’s that close.
