Audio: Quick hits with Roman Josi

Bern, Switzerland native Roman Josi had aspired to play soccer before realizing his gifts on on the ice. As a younger player, he had an appreciation for Joe Sakic and played forward before transitioning to defense, as he told LA Kings Insider and Nick Nickson following the Predators’ morning skate. In the latest Quick Hits series, the Predators’ star defenseman spoke about the club’s successful trip to Philadelphia and New Jersey, and how Los Angeles’ forecheck differs from that of other teams he regularly faces in the Western Conference.
