POSTGAME NOTES

–The Reign improved to 12-6-5-0 overall and 6-4-1-0 at home as they defeated Bakersfield (10-9-2-0) in the first meeting between the two teams this season.

–Goalie Jack Campbell started his eighth straight game, finished with 29 saves on 31 shots and saw his record improve to 9-3-2.

–The Reign improved to 9-0-0-0 when leading after two periods of play and 6-1-0-0 when leading after the first period.

–The Reign have scored three or more goals in each of their last nine games.

–Michael Mersch, T.J. Hensick and Jonny Brodzinski all scored and kept pace with one another for the team goals lead (8).

–Teddy Purcell had the assist on Hensick’s goal and now has six points (2-4=6) in six appearances with the Reign.

–Shots on goal finished an even 31 on both sides. Brodzinski finished with a game-high eight, this after having a game-high seven in the previous game this week against Stockton.
