Audio: Quick hits with Alex Steen

Alternate captain Alex Steen, who wears an “A” while the Blues play at home this season, has been a central figure in the Los Angeles – St. Louis rivalry this decade. One of the most detail-oriented two-way forwards in the league, Steen has provided a consistent source of scoring for a team that, like the Kings, checks very well and has etched out a well-established, difficult-to-play-against identity. In a conversation with LA Kings Insider, Steen discusses how that image of the Blues may be evolving while touching on his team’s strong defensive structure and his own role on the power play.
