February 14 postgame quotes: Lecavalier, Pearson, Enroth

Vincent Lecavalier, on how he stayed in shape at the beginning of the season:
We skated every day, so it’s not game shape, but you get out there and practice your skills just to feel comfortable, but there is nothing like playing games.

Lecavalier, on the mental challenges his time in Philadelphia:
It was tough, but you have to stay positive, you have good thoughts and hope something would happen, and it did. So I am happy about that.

Lecavalier, on whether this was a typical New Jersey game:
They played well, it was a hard-fought game by both teams. Obviously we want to win and we are not satisfied with just saying we played a good game. We played hard, goalies made some big saves on both sides. We had some good opportunities at the end there to tie, but we didn’t, but it was for sure a hard-fought game.

Tanner Pearson, on the frustrations of the game:
We created chances, a couple posts, a couple trickled wide and that’s how it goes sometimes. We obviously want to capitalize on our opportunities and tonight we just didn’t.

Jhonas Enroth, on the challenges in the loss:
I think we expect it playing the Devils. They are really good at playing these type of games. We didn’t really get any good looks on goal. I thought he played pretty well, but we never got those grade-A scoring chances.

Enroth, on whether New Jersey’s goal was deflected:
No it hit the guy in front, I am not sure who it was, but it definitely hit someone.
