-Jake Muzzin’s snapped eight-game point streak was the sixth-longest streak by a defenseman in Kings history. The longest belongs to Paul Coffey, who recorded points in 10 consecutive games between December 5-29, 1992.
-Tyler Toffoli’s streak of recording an even-or-better rating ended with a minus-one performance. Tonight’s game marked only the third time out of 46 games this season in which he finished with a negative rating (others: 10/13/15 L vs VAN; 11/10/15 L vs ARI).
-Despite the loss, Jonathan Quick is 16-4-2 with a 1.86 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage over his last 22 games (1420:05 minutes / 632 SA / 588 SV), dating back to the 3-1 win at Florida on November 23.

The Kings are scheduled to have an off-ice workout at 12:00 p.m. on Friday before traveling to Arizona.
