-Los Angeles’ season-long nine-game point streak (7-0-2) was snapped. Prior to Monday, the last regulation defeat was the 4-3 loss to Carolina on November 22.

-Darryl Sutter coached his 1,151st regular season game, tying Marc Crawford for 15th place on the NHL’s all-time games coached list.
