October 22 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On Jhonas Enroth’s performance:
I thought he was really good, the first period, especially. They threw a lot of pucks at us, and I he did a really, really good job too killing penalties. He was making some big saves.

On having said earlier in the day that the team has been looking for “one more goal”:
I think there were two or three times [where] momentum in the game, probably penalty killing and power plays – the goal late, the first period, the power play goal that gave us a two-nothing lead – it’s a big goal. Obviously Carter scores again early in the second, so the third goal is a big goal.

On the importance of the new players all contributing in the win:
Well, I think that Lucic has been making very good contributions. It’s not necessarily based on goals or assists. Enroth, as I said, was really good. Christian had to go over to the left side. It’s a big advantage for us to have guys that can play both sides, so he did a good job.

On Jamie McBain:
He played a solid game.
