Black and White, Episode 2: Equipment

Black and White returned on Tuesday, and hey, here’s to any episode featuring the sharp observations of Dana Bryson. This episode, he introduces the word “bagalanche” into our vocabulary. Also: the bench communication, accurately depicted by Kyle Clifford as a “pit crew,” is immediate and well captured as Bobby Halfacre wastes no time retrieving new sticks from the rack as not to disrupt the flow in play. “We can’t hold the game up in any regard. We can’t have players miss shifts,” said Darren Granger in an encapsulation of the around-the-clock responsibilities shouldered by the equipment crew.
