-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 83-97-33 all-time against the Arizona franchise, which includes a home mark of 47-42-16. The Kings’ five-game point stream (4-0-1) against the Coyotes was snapped. Los Angeles is now 9-3-0 in the last 12 home games in the series. These teams will meet next on November 10 at Staples Center.

-In his NHL debut, Jordan Weal logged 7:38 of ice time and finished with a minus-one rating, one hit, one takeaway, and won both faceoffs he took.
-The Kings attempted 73 shots (41 on goal, 10 blocked, 22 missed). The Coyotes attempted 36 shots (22 on goal, 7 blocked, 7 missed). Dustin Brown led all skaters with seven shots on goal and nine shot attempts. Oliver Ekman-Larsson led all Arizona skaters with five shot attempts.
-Los Angeles won 26-of-49 faceoffs (53%). Among regular performers, Anze Kopitar won 6-of-17, Jordan Weal won 2-of-2, Nick Shore won 8-of-11, Trevor Lewis won 1-of-3, and Jeff Carter won 5-of-12.
