No further discipline for Brown, Lucic

A quick note that I received from hockey ops:

“Spoke to the league regarding both Brown and Lucic. Will talk to the players regarding the call. No further discipline for either.”

Both players are expected to be in the lineup when the Kings face the Arizona Coyotes Friday night at Staples Center (7:30 p.m. / FOX Sports West / KABC 790 / I Heart Radio). The Kings showed the same lines at practice that were used during Wednesday’s loss to San Jose, as Jordan Weal skated as an extra on the Andreoff line, and Derek Forbort and Brayden McNabb skated as the extra defensive pair. I asked Darryl Sutter about Brayden McNabb’s preseason play earlier today, and he responded with some choice words. Lucic also spoke strongly about his altercation Wednesday night with Logan Couture. Darryl Sutter quotes and subsequent stories will follow shortly.
