Tickets for the Los Angeles Kings’ rookie games against the Arizona Coyotes at Toyota Sports Center on September 15 and 16 are available for purchase by following this link. Each individual ticket costs $16, with proceeds benefiting the Kings Care Foundation. 400 tickets will be available for purchase for each game.
The Tuesday, September 15 game will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the Wednesday, September 16 game will begin at 2:00 p.m. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., respectively.
According to a Kings release, part of the STAPLES Center experience will be replicated as Bailey, members of the Kings Ice Crew, organist and Music Director Dieter Ruehle and P.A. announcer Dave Joseph will all take part in the game presentation.
Los Angeles and Arizona split a pair of rookie games at Toyota Sports Center in 2011, with the Kings falling 8-7 in the first game (goal scorers: Kozun x2, Andreoff x2, Weal, Czarnik, Kaunisto) before defeating the Coyotes 4-3 in the second game (goal scorers: Nolan x2, Weal, Vey).
Last year, the two teams faced off for a pair of rookie games at Gila River Arena, with the Kings falling 4-1 in the first game (goal scorer: McKeown) before rebounding for a 3-1 win in the second game (goal scorers: Watson, Zykov, Mersch).
