For the second time in his career, Drew Doughty has been named a Second Team NHL All-Star.
Selected as the Kings’ Outstanding Defenseman for the third consecutive season, Doughty also claimed the club’s Most Valuable Player award, as voted on by the media.
No player in the NHL logged as many minutes as Doughty, who ranked second in the league with an average of 28:59 per game and was one of four Kings to play in all 82 games. In those 82 games, Doughty totaled seven goals and 46 points and registered a career-high 219 shots on goal.
