April 6 postgame notes

-With the shootout loss, Los Angeles fell to 103-98-36 all-time against Vancouver, a record that includes a road mark of 40-59-18. The Kings finished the season series with a 3-1-1 record against the Canucks. Los Angeles failed to tie a franchise record by winning its third straight road game in the series (3-0-0; April 4, 1971-January 2, 1972).

-The Kings fell to 13-9-15 in one-goal games, 21-3-5 when leading after one period, 27-3-5 when leading after two periods, 3-15 when games extend past 60 minutes and 2-8 in shootouts.

-Dating back to February 7, Jonathan Quick is 18-6-2 with a 1.91 GAA, a .928 Sv% and three shutouts (1567:17 min / 692 shots against / 642 saves).

-Tyler Toffoli increased his point streak to three games (0-3=3). He has nine points (4-5=9) in 10 career games against Vancouver.

-Jeff Carter increased his point streak to three games (2-3=5).

-Dwight King increased his point streak to three games (2-1=3).

-By logging 24:02 of ice time, Anze Kopitar cracked 24 minutes for the fourth time this season. His season-high in ice time is 25:25, logged in the 5-4 shootout loss to Winnipeg on January 10.

-With a 7-for-11 performance, Nick Shore has now won 82 of his last 131 faceoffs (62.6%). He leads Kings faceoff regulars with a 53.9% success rate.

-Los Angeles attempted 58 shots (37 on goal, 12 blocked, 9 missed). Vancouver attempted 38 shots (38 on goal, 15 blocked, 10 missed). Jake Muzzin, Drew Doughty, Jeff Carter and Alexandre Burrows all tied with a game-high five shots on goal. Radim Vrbata (4 on goal, 4 blocked, 1 missed) led all skaters with nine shot attempts.

-The Kings won 42-of-77 faceoffs (55%). Among regular performers, Anze Kopitar won 22-of-31, Jarret Stoll won 4-of-14, Nick Shore won 7-of-11 and Jeff Carter won 8-of-20.
