On the Kings’ ability to go to the net and play physical:
You know, we probably got a couple fortunate goals, but we also got some goals by going to the net.

On whether the game was one of Anze Kopitar’s strongest performances:
Yeah, we need that out of him. We need him to be a top guy every night if we’re going to make the playoffs.

On whether the win was a “big win”:
You get two points. You know what? You’re trying to get points. There’s not one that’s bigger than the other one. It’s a division game.

On whether Trevor Lewis has been playing with more confidence:
It’s been in and out. We’ve been trying to find guys who get that line going. You know, we were able to use him left wing, right wing. Tonight we just said we were going to leave him with Kopitar and see what happens.
