February 26 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On whether the loss came down to Andrew Hammond having a terrific game:
No, I thought our defense was really slow in the first period moving pucks, and in the second we passed the puck to them. It probably should’ve been two-one for them after the second, and then in the third we just couldn’t get the goal.

On the team’s offensive looks:
Jeff Carter’s line was really good, but I think that after that it was pretty much zero.

On whether there was concern that players were looking ahead to tomorrow’s game:
No. I’d be concerned that some of our older players that didn’t play very well tonight won’t tomorrow. [Reporter: Won’t play tomorrow?] The older players that didn’t play very well tonight won’t play very well tomorrow night, that would be my concern. Why would they be looking ahead to tomorrow night? [Reporter: It’s playing a division rival, bigger game.] I think you get two points for every game.
