-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 61-47-12 all-time against the Colorado franchise, a record that includes a road mark of 26-29-4. The Kings have earned points in six consecutive games against the Avalanche (5-0-1) since a 3-1 setback on January 22, 2013.

-Los Angeles extended its winning streak to six games, tying its longest streak of the season (October 12-26) and tying Nashville’s longest active streak in the NHL.

-The Kings improved to 16-7-9 against the Western Conference and 8-4-3 against the Central Division.

-Los Angeles has scored at least three goals in each game during the winning streak. The Kings are averaging 3.1 goals per game in February (25 G / 8 GP).

-Los Angeles has killed off 15-of-17 penalties in February.

-Dwight King (0-1=1) has recorded points in a career-long five consecutive games (3-5=8).

-Jeff Carter (2-0=2) has recorded points in five consecutive games (4-5=9).

-Since returning from his six-game absence due to mononucleosis, Tyler Toffoli (1-1=2) has 11 points (7-4=11) in 10 games.

-King, Carter and Toffoli have combined for 32 points in the 10 games since the All-Star Break.

-Jonathan Quick has stopped 154-of-166 shots during the five-game winning streak (.928 Sv%).

-Drew Doughty (30:07 TOI) has logged at least 30 minutes of ice time in 26 of the team’s 57 games and leads the NHL with an average of 29:26 per game.

-Los Angeles registered 19 hits on Wednesday and has now recorded 1,877 hits, second in the league behind the New York Islanders’ 1,888 hits. The Islanders have played one more game than the Kings.

-By playing his 499th career game, Drew Doughty moved into a tie with Lubomir Visnovsky for sixth place amongst Kings defensemen in all-time games played.

-Anze Kopitar (0-1=1) has 32 points (13-19=32) in 31 career games against Colorado.

-Los Angeles attempted 52 shots (26 on goal, 16 blocked, 10 missed). Colorado attempted 71 shots (43 on goal, 17 blocked, 11 missed). Jeff Carter led the Kings with eight shot attempts and finished tied with a game-high six shots on goal. Tyson Barrie led all skaters with 11 shot attempts and finished tied with Carter with a game-high six shots on goal.

-Los Angeles won 19-of-60 faceoffs (32%). Among regular performers, Anze Kopitar won 8-of-21, Trevor Lewis won 0-of-3, Jarret Stoll won 4-of-13, Nick Shore won 3-of-7 and Jeff Carter won 3-of-15.

The Kings have a day off on Thursday, February 19. Their next practice will be at Levi’s Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 20.
