The important thing was that we played the whole game. They scored in the second shift. Showed the ability to play through that.
On Dwight King’s performance:
I thought the line was really good, I thought Jeff and Tyler and Kinger were all clearly our best forwards by a longshot.
On the team suppressing high quality opportunities over the final 90 seconds:
We had trouble on faceoffs the last 90 seconds.
On whether Brayden McNabb stepped in and provided “what [the Kings were] looking for”:
We’re looking for all our defensemen to play better. Drew’s been outstanding. Robyn gutted it out. Greener was cut. Those young guys, anything other than winning – that’s why they’re called defensemen. Brayden McNabb, Jamie McBain. That’s what they’re supposed to do. Tough league. They haven’t played many playoff games or big games, either one of ‘em.
