February 5 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On whether there is a difference “between losing and the way you lose”:
I thought we scored a big power play goal to make it two-one, and then obviously a turnover to tie it and a turnover to win it for them. Turnovers – that’s the difference in winning and losing tonight. [Reporter: How do you fix that?] Well, that’s a little bit of experience there. Young defenseman turns it over and a young forward turns it over.

On Jamie McBain’s performance:
He did exactly what we asked him to do – move pucks and get pucks to the net. [Reporter: Did it seem like he kind of found his game after the first few shifts?] Who’s that? [Reporter: Jamie. He kind of got there eventually.] I thought he was fine. I mean, he’s a guy who’s going to give you a handful of minutes. You can’t make mistakes and you’ve got to move the puck. That’s what he did. That’s where we’re at with those guys. It’s frustrating.

On what it’ll take to turn things around on the road trip:
Probably win the next game. Logical, isn’t it?
