Stanley Cup Moments, Episode 12: The Celebrations

The Stanley Cup Moments series is nearing its conclusion, and in the recently produced episode, entitled “The Celebrations,” KingsVision was in the dressing room as corks were popped into the ceiling and champagne sprayed like a sprinkler in all directions. There were some really terrific moments – Darryl Sutter addressing the team in a circle, reminding the team that they’ll always have that moment, as well as Robyn Regehr placing the camera in the bowl of the Stanley Cup and Jonathan Quick convincing a bike rider at the South Bay parade to pop a wheelie – as the Kings took a victory lap immediately after their second Stanley Cup triumph.

“The champagne flying everywhere, like, it stings your eyes so badly. It’s one of the worst feelings. But, I mean, I’ll gladly take a champagne bottle to the face after a Stanley Cup win.”
-Alec Martinez
