December 11 postgame quotes: Darryl Sutter

On whether he was pleased with the response after the shorthanded goal:
Yeah. I mean, I think there were two or three times during the game where we had good responses. After the first period we did, I think after that goal we did, after they scored where Cliffy breaks his stick, we scored the empty net goal. Good response. It’s not clear sailing or easy sailing.

On whether there was an emphasis on getting bodies and pucks to the net:
As I said this morning, I think we’ve done that for the past two games. Tonight the puck went in the net.

On whether he was happy with Jake Muzzin’s performance:
[When] he passes the puck hard and advances the puck, you have a chance of getting an assist.

On Jonathan Quick’s performance:
He’s fighting for a win. You know what? He had two games where he didn’t get much offensive support, and he doesn’t like losing games. At the end of the day, when you ask Jonathan, always what does he say? He says, ‘It’s about wins.’ It’s not often he loses two in a row.
