December 6 postgame notes

-The Kings are now 41-83-16 all-time against the Flyers, a record that includes a home mark of 22-42-8.

-Los Angeles is now 3-8-0 in its last 11 home games against Philadelphia.

-Los Angeles is 5-4-2 against the Eastern Conference and 2-3-2 against the Metropolitan Division.

-The Kings, who had posted shutouts in three of their previous four games, had their shutout streak come to an end at 126:24.

-Los Angeles is now 14-2-1 when allowing two goals or less.

-The Kings have now scored 40 goals over their last 13 games, averaging 3.08 goals per game.

-The 16 shots allowed were tied for the lowest total the Kings have allowed all season (also, Oct. 19 vs. MIN).

-Justin Williams (1-0=1) scored his sixth goal of the season and now has points in each of the last two games (1-1=2). He has now registered 10 points (5-5=10) in the last 10 games.

-Jarret Stoll (0-1=1) has points in each of the last two games (1-2=3) and has nine points (3-6=9) in the last 10 games.

-Drew Doughty had 30:28 of ice time. He currently ranks second in the NHL in time on ice per game this season at 28:47 and he led the league in that category in the month of November at 30:07 per game.

-Anze Kopitar recorded a season-high six shots on net to lead the Kings.

-In five games against his former team, Mike Richards has two points (1-1=2) versus the Flyers.

-In four games against his former team, Jeff Carter has one point (1-0=1) versus the Flyers.

-The Kings out-hit the Flyers 37-18. Jake Muzzin and Dustin Brown led the Kings with four hits apiece.

-Los Angeles finished with 69 shot attempts (38 on goal, 22 blocked, 9 missed). Philadelphia finished with 29 shot attempts (16 on goal, 3 blocked, 10 missed).

-The Kings won 27-of-52 faceoffs (52%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 3-of-7, Anze Kopitar won 3-of-9, Trevor Lewis won 5-of-7, Jarret Stoll won 8-of-15, and Jeff Carter won 8-of-13. Claude Giroux won 17-of-27 faceoffs for the Flyers.

-Tonight’s attendance was 18,230, a sellout. This marks the 106th consecutive regular season sellout and the 136th consecutive sellout overall, both of which are team records.

The Kings practice will practice at 10:00 am at Toyota Sports Center on Sunday, December 7.
