Good morning, western suburbs of Phoenix, and good morning, Insiders.

These units won’t have to worry about working overtime today. No, not with the storm that drenched California now making do above the desert. We’re on an interesting precipitation streak with rain in Dallas, rain in Nashville, snow in St. Paul, rain in Los Angeles and rain in Glendale.

It was mostly cloudy when we landed in Phoenix and lost an hour yesterday.

More to come in advance of 11:30 a.m., when the Kings will take the ice for the morning skate at Gila River Arena. Lance Pugmire will be on hand to provide LA Times coverage, while Sarah McLellan and Craig Morgan do an excellent job covering the Coyotes.
