December 2 postgame notes

-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 40-80-14 all-time against Boston, a record that inclides a home mark of 25-34-8. The Kings are 7-4-0 in their last 11 games overall against the Bruins.

-The Kings improved to 5-3-2 against the Eastern Conference and 3-1-0 against the Atlantic Division.

-Jonathan Quick stopped all 32 shots for his third shutout of the season and the 34th of his career. He has a record of 10-1-1 in his last 12 home games, while posting a 1.17 goals-against average, .958 save percentage and three shutouts.

-Tuesday’s game marked only the third time in the last 11 games that Los Angeles has been held below three goals. They have averaged 3.18 goals per game (35 goals / 11 games) over that span.

-The Kings did not allow their opponents a power play for the first time since April 9 and April 10, 2014.

-Los Angeles leads the league in home wins (11) and home points (23).

-The Kings improved to 10-0-3 when scoring first and 13-1-1 when allowing two goals or less.

-Matt Greene tied Neil Komadoski (378 GP) for 12th place on the Kings’ all-time games played list by a defenseman.

-Tanner Pearson notched his 10th goal of the season (tied with Tyler Toffoli for the team lead) and his team-leading third game-winning goal

-Mike Richards, Tyler Toffoli and Chris Kelly tied with a game-high five shots on goal.

-The Kings attempted 63 shots (35 on goal, 14 blocked, 14 missed). The Bruins attempted 57 shots (31 on goal, 9 blocked, 17 missed).

-Los Angeles won 28-of-56 faceoffs (50%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 5-of-10, Anze Kopitar won 8-of-13, Trevor Lewis won 0-of-4, Jarret Stoll won 9-of-17, and Jeff Carter won 5-of-9.

The Kings are scheduled to practice at 11:30 a.m. at Toyota Sports Center on Wednesday, December 3.
