Dwight King previews Nashville

On slowing down Nashville’s at even strength:
Obviously try and limit their time and space. They’re a quick team. They’ve got some new skilled forwards up front that are kind of carrying a lot of the offense for them. Make hard on those guys. Make it hard on everybody. Obviously they play everybody in their lineup a decent amount. It’s one of those things if we play the guys as good as we should, that will play into our hands.

On the differences preparing for this year’s Nashville team as opposed to past teams:
Obviously they added guys like I mentioned and got their goalie back, which is the bulk of their franchise. It’ll be tough, but I think everybody is looking forward to the challenge.

On whether they try to incorporate Pekka Rinne’s tendencies into the game plan:
I think every team we kind of do a little pre-scout thing on them – players, goalies – what they need to be. As far as being on the ice, you do maybe think of it but it’s kind of a more what you see kind of deal for most players.
