-No lineup changes are expected following Thursday’s game against Carolina.

-Not that you would have expected anything different at the outset of a road trip, but Jonathan Quick left the ice first at the morning skate. Expect him to start against the Stars.

-Alec Martinez skated on his own at the conclusion of the morning skate. He’s not playing tonight. Here’s more on Martinez’s status from Darryl Sutter and hockey operations.

-Jamie McBain discusses his partnership with Robyn Regehr and facing several of his ex-teammates in a 3-2 win over Carolina on Thursday:

-Via Stepneski, incoming defenseman Jason Demers is practicing on the second power play unit. He’ll make his Dallas debut tonight.

-A nice touch: There will be a pre-game ceremony honoring Mike Modano as part of this year’s Hockey Hall of Fame class. Per Helene Elliott, Rob Blake will also be recognized. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:16 p.m. local time.
