-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 54-43-22 all-time against Anaheim, a record that includes a home mark of 33-17-10. The Kings are 1-0-1 against the Ducks this season; the teams won’t meet again until January 17 at Staples Center.

-Los Angeles improved to 7-2-2 against the Western Conference and 3-1-2 against the Pacific Division.

-Tyler Toffoli scored his fourth shorthanded goal of the season in the second period, becoming the fastest Kings player to record four shorthanded goals (18 games) in team history (previously Bernie Nicholls in 25 games, 1988-89). Nicholls set the team record that season for most shorthanded goals in a season with eight. -Eight of the last nine Kings-Ducks games have been decided by one goal. The only game decided by a wider margin was last year’s Stadium Series game.

-Los Angeles has killed off 37-of-40 power plays at Staples Center.

-The Kings have held their opponents to a 4.4% shooting percentage in the third period (8 GA / 181 SA).

-Anze Kopitar’s power play goal ended an 0-for-18 drought.

-With the win, Darryl Sutter tied Bob Berry (107) for sixth place on the Kings’ all-time wins list.

-Drew Doughty has earned at least 30 minutes of ice time in five of the last six games and ranks second in the NHL with an ice time average of 28:49. His 32:21 of ice time was the most logged in a regular season game since drawing 33:25 in a 2-1 overtime loss at Edmonton on January 24, 2013.

-Jonathan Quick leads the league in saves (471) and is tied for third with a .938 save percentage.

-Anze Kopitar has 49 points (20-29=49) in 47 career games against Anaheim.

-Jarret Stoll (1-1=2) recorded his first overtime goal since Nov. 17, 2005 versus Detroit (with Edmonton) and his first game-winning goal since March 19, 2013 versus Phoenix. The two points moved him to 200 total with the Kings (76-124=200). Today’s game marked his first multi-point game of the season and first since December 10, 2013.

-Jake Muzzin tallied two assists (0-2=2), tying a career high that he has accomplished seven times. It was his third multi-point performance in the last four games; he has seven points (1-6=7) in the last five games.

-Los Angeles attempted 66 shots (37 on goal, 15 blocked, 14 missed). Anaheim attempted 54 shots (29 on goal, 13 blocked, 12 missed).

-The Kings won 35-of-68 faceoffs (51%). Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 9-of-15, Anze Kopitar won 9-of-15, Trevor Lewis won 4-of-7, Jarret Stoll won 8-of-20, and Jeff Carter won 4-of-9.
