November 4 morning skate quotes: Darryl Sutter

On the road trip:
We’ve played really well on the road. Other than for a few minutes in Detroit, we’ve played really well. So I’m not getting too far ahead of myself or too far behind. We’ve probably played better in some of these games than we did in the miraculous home stand that everybody talked about.

On what he’d like to see against Dallas tonight:
The continuation of what we did last game. I think we’ve battled back in every game. We’ll do that again tonight.

On how Dallas looks with Jason Spezza in the lineup:
They’re a veteran team. It’s not just Jason Spezza. They’ve got a deep veteran group, so we’ve got our hands full. It’s a team that’s got a lot of power in there, too.

On Trevor Daley, who is appearing in his 700th career game tonight:
I’ve seen him a lot, quite honest, being in the conference and division, over the years. He’s a real solid, steady guy. Really good competitor, plays against top guys, plays in a lot of situations, and he’s having some offensive goal success this year.
