-With the win, Los Angeles improved to 42-55-19 all-time against Buffalo, a record that includes a home mark of 26-24-9. The Kings are 8-2-1 in their last 11 home games in the series. The two teams will conclude the season series on December 9 at the First Niagara Center.

– Jonathan Quick recorded the 33rd shutout of his career, surpassing Rogie Vachon for first overall on the Kings all-time shutout list.

-Los Angeles is 5-0-0 in their six-game home stand (10/12 LAK 4, WPG 1; 10/14 LAK 6, EDM 1; 10/16 LAK 1 STL 0 (SO); 10/19 LAK 2, MIN 1; 10/23 LAK 2, BUF 0; 10/26 CBJ). No Kings team has ever posted a perfect 6-0-0 home stand. In 1990-91, the Kings were 5-0-1 on a home stand, which to this point represents the best six-game home stand in club history.
