Stanley Cup march part of pre-game festivities

The Los Angeles Kings will officially – and ceremonially – return the Stanley Cup to the National Hockey League Wednesday evening beginning with a fan march that will originate on the LA Live Plaza shortly after 5:00 p.m. It won’t be an extraordinarily long march – just across Chick Hearn Court to the Team LA Store – but will be accompanied by video cameras.

Fan Fest will also be on site at LA Live and Chick Hearn Court, complete with a beer garden, promotional booths, street hockey games and general season-opening what-have-you.

While fans won’t be able to take individual photos with the Stanley Cup, a collection of league hardware including the Clarence Campbell Bowl and Conn Smythe Trophy will be on display and available for photographs.
