LAKings.com feature: Built Together

Justin Williams wore the “C” in Glendale on Monday night. Since joining the Kings, he has not been a player who has worn an “A.” There are other strong leaders on the team who do not wear letters – Robyn Regehr and Jeff Carter are among the sizable group – and I’m reluctant to list too many players in the event that I might leave someone out in such a nebulous subject.

“Leadership” is difficult to define, but it is an abstract that can be found in all corners of the Kings’ room. How did Dustin Brown refine his own guidance as Kings captain? Who else has grown into leadership roles? I spoke with Brown and Dean Lombardi and received an interesting take on the intangibles that seem to elevate the Kings. If you didn’t read the piece when it came out yesterday, it’s right here.
