Cup pays a visit to Ontario, Quebec, New Hampshire

As a reminder, Philip Pritchard, a.k.a. the “Keeper of the Cup,” is a necessary Twitter follow this summer. If you followed him, you wouldn’t need the NHL.com recap to know that Vice President of Hockey Operations and Director of Player Personnel Michael Futa, Amateur Scout – Quebec/Maritimes Denis Fugere and Manchester Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough have all recently spent time with the Stanley Cup.

Two days ago, the Cup visited Manchester, New Hampshire:

McDonough brought the Cup to his alma mater, Saint Anselm College. “Fortunately enough they gave me half a day here, so we were debating [where to take it],” McDonough told the Saint Anselm web site, as reported by NHL.com. “I brought it to my mom and dad’s earlier this morning and to my first home where I learned to play hockey out in the driveway. That brought back some good memories. It’s as much fun to win, but it’s a lot of fun to share the Cup.”

After leaving New Hampshire, the Cup arrived in St . Jerome, Quebec for the second time in three seasons:

Futa also kicked off the Summer of Cup in Rexdale, a Toronto suburb:

Coming soon: The Stanley Cup will be in Ithaca, New York on Saturday, where Dustin Brown will host a viewing party that morning. It will be the fourth time in 14 years that the Cup visited Ithaca, according to the Elmira Star-Gazette.

Next up? Tyler Toffoli.
