On how the team has come together in recent years:
I think, one, we have a group of guys who have been together. The first time we did it, we made it very easy on ourselves. This time, we’ve made it really hard on ourselves. We need to enjoy this one on the plane ride. This is probably the most emotional series I’ve been a part of, but it’s four more games we need to win.
On the emotions of winning this Western Conference Finals series:
Like I just said, it’s probably the most emotional seven games I’ve played. Just how games were won and lost, leads blown, leads lost, everything. To be able to just pull through and find a way – again, we say that about us a lot – we believe in ourselves.
On the team’s resiliency:
Again, it’s a part of us being together for an extended period of time. There is a group of us that have played hundreds of games together, and that goes a long way this time of year when it gets really, really hard. That’s when you can lean on each other to find a way.
