Dustin Brown, on their mindset heading into the third period:
We’ve been pretty good at protecting leads in the third and they got a quick goal… At the end of the day they won the game. We have to go back to LA and reset and reload because we have another chance on Friday.
Brown, on how they can take momentum away from Chicago:
Just go out and play our game.
Jarret Stoll, on whether there is a different mindset when leading a series:
No, you have to play the game. Play the right way. We’re going home. We’re going to have a big win in front of our home fans and that’s our goal. They’re going to be fired up. We’re going to be fired up as well. We need to play a good home game. We’ll move on from this one. We’ll look at some tape, how we need to be better, push for the win. [Reporter: So near and yet so far.] Yeah, it’s not easy. It’s never going to be easy, especially against defending champions and a team that has won and a team that knows how to win. No one said it would be easy.
Stoll, on what it was like playing in the game:
It’s a good hockey game. It’s a great hockey game. Anytime it’s a double overtime game in the playoffs with two good teams going at it, it should be a good hockey game.
Stoll, on the eight minutes of uninterrupted play in the first overtime:
There were points there where we were like ‘Jeez, get a cover here.’ But that’s good hockey for the fans. They were into it. Both teams were into it. It was fun.
