-With the loss, Los Angeles fell to 105-134 in the playoffs, a record that includes a road mark of 46-80. The Kings are 5-10 all-time against the Blackhawks in the playoffs (4-2 home, 1-8 road).

-Los Angeles fell to 17-15 all-time and 1-2 this postseason in Game 5s. When losing Game 5, the Kings have won five of 14 series.

-Los Angeles is 8-1 in series in which they held a three-two lead. The Kings have won all four series in which they at one point held a three-one lead. The last time Los Angeles held a three-one lead in a series was against New Jersey in the 2012 Stanley Cup Final. In that series, they lost Game 5 on the road before returning home to win Game 6.

-Since dropping the first three games of the San Jose series the Kings have gone 11-5, outscoring their opponents 57-35 over that span.

-Los Angeles leads all NHL teams with an average of 3.42 goals per game in the postseason.

-The Kings fell to 8-1 when leading after two periods.

-Los Angeles’ streak of scoring in 10 straight periods was snapped in the third period.

-The Kings fell to 24-27 all-time in playoff overtime.

-Anze Kopitar leads all playoff scorers with 23 points (5-18=23). Only Wayne Gretzky (1993 / 40 points) and Tomas Sandstrom (1993 / 25 points) have recorded more points in a single postseason in franchise history.

-Jeff Carter has points in six straight games (5-7=12) and nine points (4-5=9) in his last four games.

-Tanner Pearson has points in six straight games (3-4=7).

-Tyler Toffoli’s five-game point streak was snapped. He has 11 points (6-5=11), a plus-nine rating and a 55.8% Corsi percentage (154 CF; 122 CA) in 13 career regular season and playoff games against Chicago.

-Marian Gaborik leads all postseason scorers with a career-high 11 goals. The 11 goals trail Wayne Gretzky (15 / 1993) and Luc Robitaille (12 / 1991) for the most in a single playoff season in franchise history.

-Drew Doughty logged a career-high 39:04 of ice time. Nine of his 12 shot attempts were on net.

-Jake Muzzin (30:54) logged 30 minutes of ice time for the first time in his career.

-Dustin Brown, Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw recorded a game-high eight hits.

-Los Angeles attempted 76 shots (44 on net, 18 blocked, 14 missed). Chicago attempted 81 shots (45 on net, 24 blocked, 12 missed).

The Kings won 40-of-74 faceoffs. Among regular performers, Mike Richards won 6-of-11, Anze Kopitar won 15-of-26, Trevor Lewis won 0-of-3, Jarret Stoll won 9-of-19 and Jeff Carter won 8-of-13.

The Kings are scheduled to hold media availability at 12:00 p.m. at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.
