Quick responds to 2012/2014 comparison, talks Muzzin

On whether the team’s level of play is similar to that of 2012:
I don’t know. It’s tough because you try not to look back, really. You just focus on the next game. But obviously the one similarity is we’ve been able to win as many games as we have. We put ourselves in a position where we have an opportunity to win a game to go to the finals. Our team two years ago was able to that. We were able to do that right now. That doesn’t mean anything as far as anything’s going to be handed to us. We’ve got a lot to do to be able to earn that win.

On Drew Doughty and Jake Muzzin providing offense:
Those guys have been producing all postseason here all year. It’s kind of the same thing here. It’s nothing we’re not used to seeing. They’re just playing their game. At the end of the day, our focus is the next game and what we can do to get better and prepare.

On the biggest jump Jake Muzzin has taken:
I think he benefits a lot from the guys around him that he’s learned from. I think the biggest thing for him is he’s so athletic. He’s kind of like a natural athlete, so he picks things up really well. I think it’s just kind of playing with the guys that he plays with. He’s learned from them, and obviously he’s playing the way he is, so it’s huge for us for him to play that way.
