Robyn Regehr skates at practice

Three days after Darryl Sutter informed reporters that Robyn Regehr was dealing with a knee injury and had not yet resumed skating, the veteran Kings defenseman joined a small group of players midway through Sunday’s optional practice at Toyota Sports Center. It was the first time he skated with teammates since suffering the injury in the first period of Game 1 against Anaheim on May 3. Though there is no timetable for Regehr to return to the lineup, today’s skate obviously represents a step in the right direction in his recovery.
